Marine Operation Manager

Management company in Oslo looking for good qualified person whom has sailed as Chief officer/Master and has good Chemical or/and product experience.

The ideal person will have :

The main responsibility for the candidate will be:

Technical assistance and supervising the ships in cargo related matters
Developing and maintaining nautical standards on all ships
Providing guidance to ships on cargo operations
Follow up and management of cargo related claims and disputes
Monitoring and reporting Off-Hire to the management and principals
Monitoring Charter Party related requirements
Overall responsibility relating to speed and consumption reporting (VAR)
Obtaining or developing updates for ship's SOPEP / SMPEP manuals and sending to ships. Copies of all lans shall be maintained in the office for emergency response purposes
When required by a coastal state a ship is trading to, the development and implementation of any state specific emergency response plans
Preparation of ships for oil major inspections including conducting pre-vetting inspections and developing corrective action lists as appropriate
Responsibility for coordinating the closing of Non-Conformities and Observations with the ship and the Ship Manager and assuring that all pre-vetting and vetting inspections are closed and adequate preventive recurrence measures are in place.
Proactively sharing preventive recurrence measures with the rest of the fleet.
Coordination and communication with oil majors, including submitting all comments following an inspection.
Developing vetting plans, maintaining an overview of vetting status and reporting as required to management and owners
