Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial and accounting activities of MISC Agencies (China) Ltd and sub agency offices to ensure compliance with Group policies and in accordance with local China regulations and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and monitor environmental strategies, policies and program that promote sustainable development across the group.
  • Review and examine group-wide environmental management activities to establish where improvements can be made and ensure compliance with environmental legislation across the group.
  • Formulate and implement specific environmental performance indicators and targets for the MISC Group in line with business objectives and continuous improvement process (and PETRONAS Group initiatives).
  • Promoting and raising awareness, at all levels of an organisation, of the impact of emerging environmental issues, whether legislative or best practice, on corporate, ethical and social responsibility.
  • Managing the development and implementation of an environmental management system.
  • Assist subsidiaries/units and JVs in drawing up respective environmental plans/program in line with legal requirement, PTS and industry best practices and advice appropriate strategy and implementation plan to prevent/mitigate risks.
  • Keep abreast of local, national and international Environmental Rules and advice in the formulation of appropriate environmental related policies and guidelines in line with Business Objectives.
  • Establish and review environmental compliance program group wide by conducting periodic reviews to ensure compliance to HSE policies and objectives and adherence to relevant operational, risk management and legal requirements and standards.


Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in HSE related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years experience in any HSE field with substantial knowledge on environmental programmes. Exposure in oil & gas and maritime industry is an added advantage.

  • Study the gap exist on ERT/EMT competency. Resource for training materials/programmes for ERT/EMT. Plan and programme the training sessions to ensure that the gaps identified are closed. Assess the effectiveness of the trainings done.
  • Research on HSE Global Happenings / Advise (travel/pandemic/precautionary). Liaison with external parties (CRM).
  • Custodian of Group CMP; periodically test the plan.
  • Assists OPU HSE with developing emergency procedures.

Requirements
  • Master Class 1 Foreign
  • At least 7 years experience on Tankers with 2 years in a Senior Position. Exposure in Operational HSE is an added advantage.

POST OF MARINE ENGINEERING LECTURER GRADE HM2 (2 POSTS)

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidates will be required to teach Marine Engineering subjects from Cadet to Officer of the Watch level including Marine Power Plant and Electrical & Electronic Engineering. They will also be required to conduct practical training classes and be involved in all aspects of training and academic activities as well as contribute towards course development, evaluation and curriculum design.

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POST
  • Class 1 Marine Engineering Officer or Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Technology, Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.
  • Previous sea service as Chief Marine Engineer or O.O.W in a sea-going vessel.
  • Candidates with Masters Degree in Maritime Education and Training will have an added advantage.
EXPERIENCE
  • At least 5 years teaching experience in Nautical College.

Vacancy: Marine Superintendent in Germany

Marine Superintendent in Germany (Salary: Euro 70-85000)


You will be responsible for the operations of the 4 – 6 tankers assigned to you, ensuring that the vessels are operated in compliance with our procedures. You will be required to liaise closely with the other fleet team members and our support functions (technical, personnel, QA and operations) and the Fleet Manager.

Your key responsibilities:

Ensure that the vessels are maintained and operated safely, efficiently and economically as per company procedures through close contact with the Senior Officers, onboard inspections and supervision.

Make sure that the maintenance planning, execution and control is carried out in accordance with good practice and company standards.

Monitor unscheduled repairs and trends and communicate experience to other vessels and share experience with the Fleet Manager / Director and the other Superintendents Ensure that vessels receive supplies and spare parts as necessary.

Ensure that vessels follow relevant regulations.

Monitor the condition of the vessels during inspections and report as per the company procedures and clients'/owners' requirements.

Prepare, supervise, document and follow-up on dry-dockings. Prepare and monitor vessel budgets. The Superintendent is responsible that the vessel complies with the budgets.

Monitor and report personnel performance and training needs to the Personnel Director Other special tasks and projects as per the Fleet Manager's instructions.

Relocation package and assistance in all relocation matters over here Accomodation will be organised and paid for during the first 3 to 6 months. During this time the client will assist to find a suitable accomodation.
