This is an excellent opportunity to join a well established logistics organization. They offer a range of products/services that include NVOCC, air/sea freight forwarding, warehousing, CFS operations and other logistics activities.
We are looking for a Country Manager to establish the country operations for the LCL business followed by other product verticals (in cooperation with respective SME’s) in Saudi Arabia.
This is a challenging role but one with tremendous possibilities for future growth & development within the company.
Responsibilities: • Responsible for operations of the NVO and Warehouse operations, followed by Project Logistics when it comes on-line in country.
• Developing end-to-end product offering by the company by jointly developing and executing Country Business Plans in Saudi Arabia for the various verticals of the company (LCL, FCL, Air Freight, Warehousing, Project Logistics, Clearance & Transportation).
• Developing relationships with suppliers : Liner companies for the LCL/FCL business, Equipment Rental companies, etc.
• Responsible for optimization of manpower resources to ensure high productivity levels.
• Responsible for implementing the Performance Management System by putting in place KPI, and other measurement indicators for business profitability, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Develop and Implement strategies to capture sizeable market share to build the company into the TOP 5 in each service offering.
• Responsible for implementation of the IT systems required for operations; in cooperation and with guidance from the Corporate divisions.
Requirements: • Must have relevant experience in setting-up and/or managing freight & NVOCC/logistics offices or networks in Saudi Arabia
• Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable success in Business Development within the logistics sector in the Middle East
• Sound operational experience in sea/air/land forwarding to complement and underpin your commercial skills
• Strong entrepreneurial and leadership abilities
• Innovative and with a can-do attitude
• Excellent communication skills in English are essential
• Holding a valid Saudi or GCC country driving license
