Vacancy: Business Development Director

Jardine Shipping Services, a dynamic organisation with a commitment to develop further its business in the region, has an opening for an experienced business development professional to join its senior management team and invites applications for the following position:

Business Development Director

The Job:

- Strengthen the capabilities of business development for the organisation

- Identify, develop and implement business building strategies and initiatives

- Cultivate and develop strategic relationships with potential business partners

- Establish networks to facilitate the gathering and updating of industry and market information

- Based in Hong Kong, reporting to the CEO

The Person:

- Tertiary education with at least 10 years’ experience in the international shipping industry at a senior level

- In-depth knowledge of the shipping industry in Asia and beyond

- Successful track record in business development

- A confident communicator and team player

- Experience of managing client relationships at a senior level

- A sound knowledge of financial fundamentals is an important requirement

- Remuneration of the successful candidate will be commensurate with experience and qualifications
