Farstad Shipping will shortly commission the world-class Farstad Offshore Simulator Centre (FOSC) in Perth, Australia. This state-of-the-art centre is being established for the development of Offshore personnel and the provision of client services in operations including Anchor Handling, Dynamic Positioning, Crane Driving and Winch Operation. This is a world-class facility with some of the largest and most sophisticated Simulator technology available. The facility requires highly motivated professionals seeking the opportunity to have a positive infl uence in the further development of the Offshore Industry.
Chief Simulator Instructor & Simulator Instructors
For these roles you will be a qualified Master Mariner with significant experience in Offshore Operations and ready to be trained for a shore-based career in contemporary management practices and the training of others. An excellent communicator, you have a passion for high operating standards and imparting your knowledge and experience. A natural leader, you are able to adapt easily to engaging with participants and clients.
Senior DP Instructor & DP Instructors
For these positions you possess experience in Maritime Dynamic Positioning and have a sound understanding of the use of DP systems in the Offshore Industry. Furthermore, you are ready to be trained so you can train others and utilise your superior teaching and communication skills. Importantly, in these full-time shore-based positions, there will be opportunities to contribute to enhancing DP standards and procedures in a world-class facility.
